Inheritance

While i was having a talk with my friends, i was stunned by the insight of
my friend on inheritance. he spoke words wich we cannot say he is wrong.
whats the cause of many household fights ?
jealous/hate between family members?
under achievement of a lot of students...?
INHERITANCE...... sobering their sons/daughters with the assets their parents have...not leaving the kids to live / fight for what they believe/want... making them lazy
It is a real bitter experience of his friend.... once he was very intelligent, ambitious, hard working,friendly.... but after his brother got job and family prospered they bought him everything like ipod,mobile,bike,computer....so what they indirectly did is encouraged the feeling to enjoy rather than developing what he needs to do in future. during this time we tend to work less and have a feeling that our family has prospered. so there is no need to worry which is
the main seed to get lazy,sober....out of track kind of thing.... now he is doing his medicine with paying a huge amount where a merit guy need to pay less....i feel very sorry for a guy like that becoming like someone whom others dont acknowledge

I donno whether he has realised what he lost and why he lost...
my friend said,to make things understandable to them they should be allowed to stand on their feet rather than supporting and making them go lazy. people should be given the value for what they are.... Govt. shouldnt give admission to rich/politician people(the guys without merit)....

Finally i feel inheritance should be like a safety net for good.

  1. I am amused by the way you the issue bro but whats the take i didnot get your point from this post..... even mine is a joint family my bro supported me more than my parents he was the one who encouraged me and helped financially too when i was trying to find money to go on a college tour.. does this mean he spoiled me....
I think it should be in th person who is perceiving things... like a old saying goes.. if our gold is pure why to make fun of black smith what say...??...

  2. macha, what you said might be true for some cases, but not all. There are financially sound people among us in IIT. And there are people out there who were given substantial, but not extravagant, support, who still couldn't make out a living. I know some. And having a bad financial position don't necessarily make one hard-working , let alone intelligent. So, its up to the individual to chalk out his goal and work for it. Nothing else matters, whether he is rich or poor, or intelligent or dumb, except the zeal to achieve the goal. Don't blame the government. Rich people can afford stuff, so they can. Nothing is stopping you from buying laptops or pendrives and most importantly Ipods (totally, good for nothing) while some cant afford to buy cereals or pulses in AP. What I want to say is people can and will do whatever they can afford. And its perfectly normal to not have that affordability.

  3. It all depends on the midset of the person dude .... hw abt the poor, their parents can't afford them, but think abt it.. how many are actually serious? So, its upto the individual to take a responsibility in his career growth ;-)

  4. I completely agree with the main context of ur post....in most cases the pampering spoils the child..and a hungry stomach eggs a guy to reach forward for success...
but i thought your last line is not relevant here..y shld anyone be not given a chance to join somewhere which he can afford?? If he's denied admission, he is going to be a bigger loser in life and he will never realize what he has been missing in his life(the drive towards success)

  5. hey, good ideas but I don't agree with you raa. There are many scientists, mathematicians, scholars and other successful people who were very rich . What about ambani brothers? They nearly doubled what their father left them in less than 10 years. What about Jawaharlal nehru? His father was the most sought after lawyer in his days. It all depends on the upbringing. Many people from poor background have become biggest villains, roughly put. There are all permutations&combinations of people.

  6. hi guys... thanks for the comments....
i said there are people who have no merit still get admission because they are rich. Also i accept that there are good people who are rich.
There is a possibility that there are more intelligent, great personalities who get lost in poverty.....i wish there is a way to help them (not in words).
